“24-Hour Green Living Co-Creation Camp” ForestStudio invites you to create, camp, and explore the exhibition together
Located in the suburbs of Berlin Bergsdorf, this venue was once the studio and home of the painter Kurt Mühlenhaupt. Due to the pandemic, it has been vacant for some time, and the overgrown studio farm is now awaiting new artistic vitality.
This summer, Forest Studio has invited artists Han Feng and Zhang Ruo to use the farm studio as their workspace. The wind flowing through the grass inside and outside the granary has provided the artists with much inspiration! On the first Saturday of September, we will be launching a collective camping workshop. Let’s experience and create together in this unique 24-hour living laboratory.

As camping is an outdoor activity, it is heavily dependent on the weather. If there is light rain or showers, our event will proceed as planned. Depending on the weather, our contingency plans are as follows:
- Starting from the Monday of the event week, we will monitor the weather forecast and make a final decision on whether to cancel the event by 15:00 the day before the event at the latest.
- If the event goes ahead but we encounter light rain or heavier, we may delay the start time or adjust the event schedule. Please refer to the on-site arrangements for specifics.
We are excited to create an inspiring and mindful experience with you in Bergsdorf!
Organizers:
Forest Studio’s artistic practice focuses on the transformation of old objects and the creative use of used spaces. Since moving to Berlin in 2017, Forest Studio’s exploration direction is more inclined to social sculpture for the general public, thinking more about modern people’s desire for green living and the historical background of the city. 2020, Forest Studio started to lead the “Idealism New Space Exploration Co-learning Society” as a co-learning group under the 706 Berlin Society, organizing occasional online and offline experience sharing and exchange meetings about alternative living experience sharing and exchanges.
“Green Drinks Berlin (綠色暢聊柏林)” is an activity initiated by a group of like-minded partners (volunteers) in June 2023 to meet monthly in physical locations in Berlin to exchange information on sustainability/green topics in Chinese, in the hope of enabling more Chinese speakers in Berlin to be interested in sustainability/green topics, and to provide a platform for information exchange for those interested in sustainability/green topics. We also hope to provide a platform for people interested in sustainability/green issues to learn and grow from each other, to continue to be interested in sustainability/green issues or to start taking concrete action/contributing. Think of it as a gathering of friends. The organizers of each event are irregular volunteers. The key to the survival of the program is the active participation of each participant. Feel free to give us any feedback with thanks
